In a horrific incident, as many as 30 children died due to stoppage of oxygen supply at Gorakhpur’s BRD hospital since Thursday. The entire incident occurred within a span on 48 hours. Hospital authorities told India TV that the agency responsible for supplying oxygen stopped supply last night, leading to the death of around 20 children, many of whom are believed to be suffering from encephalitis. The children who died were admitted in three wards at the hospital. Ten more deaths were reported today evening.
