New Delhi : Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday appeared before a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Patna for hearing in a fodder scam case. Ex-chief minister Jagannath Mishra also appeared before the court in the similar case.
The case relates to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 47 lakh from Bhagalpur treasury. In 1996, the CBI had registered a case in this regard. Later, a chargesheet was filed and had named 44 accused including Lalu and Mishra.
