Our Bollywood divas are making India proud on the western shores but it seems like the shutterbugs abroad have to still get a hang fo them. Why do we say so? Well for starters it happened with Deepika Padukone. When the actress was in Los Angeles for the promotions of her Hollywood debut XXX: Return Of Xander Cage,
the paparazzi addressed her as Priyanka Chopra. When the actress was asked about her take on it, Deepika had said, “To me, it’s racist and ignorant. And as a fellow Indian, you (the media) should also be not very happy about. I think just because people have similar skin tones, doesn’t mean they are same people. As people in a place of power that the media has, instead of creating a tabloid piece out of it, people should be educating them further.”
