Heatwave condition is prevailing over isolated places of the country. Parts of Jharkhand, Odisha as well as Telangana has experienced heatwave like conditions.
Maximum temperature was above normal by 3-5 degree Celsius in parts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
At present, Titlagarh in Odisha is the hottest city in India with a maximum temperature of 45.5°C.
