India reported the lowest single-day deaths due to the coronavirus in nine months, at a time the country has began the world’s largest inoculation drive against the deadly pathogen. India also reported more fresh Covid-19 cases than daily recoveries after a month, leading to a slight uptick in active infections for the first time since Nov. 27. Total recoveries as of Feb. 7 stood at 1.05 crore.
