Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) – The woman accused of honey-trapping Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP K.C. Patel, was taken in for interrogation by the Delhi Police today.
The woman was taken into custody from her house here.
Earlier, Patel alleged that he was honey-trapped by a Supreme Court lawyer, who drugged him and shot a video of him in a compromised position.
The lawmaker from Gujarat alleged that he was accused of rape and the woman threatened to upload the video and photos online.
He said that he had registered a complaint with the Delhi Police against the woman for demanding Rs. 5 crore from him.
“I have full faith in justice and everything will become crystal clear. I am ready to cooperate fully with the police investigation,” Patel told the ANI.
