Resident warrior: Vijayanagar’s changed, and for the better too

The old-world charm of the area may have gotten obliterated, but there is only one truth in modern times, and that is change. Hence, it is more than welcome

Bangalore- Vijayanagar was named after the great Vijayanagar Empire. The right side of Vijayanagar was called Hosahalli, which is now a very small colony. I’ve been a resident of Vijayanagar from April 1994 to May 2008. I moved here as I was working in Rajajinagar and my commuting would have been easier. In the beginning, it was a developing area and a place to many for their living due to the proximity to the Market, Majestic and important destinations. It was approximately 5-7 kilometres to the railway station as well.
