Tamil Nadu: Govt. doctors’ strike over PG admissions continues

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India]- The government doctors in Tamil Nadu‘s Coimbatore on Saturday entered the 17th day of their strike through which they are demanding 50 percent reservations for them in admission to post-graduate medical courses in the state.

The doctors have said they were attending to emergency procedures when required.

The strike, however, has been severely affecting outpatient services in hospitals and primary health service centres.
