Weather Forecast for April 27 Across India

The Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over West Rajasthan.

The cyclonic circulation over NMMT (Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura) has become less marked and now, a trough is extending  from East Uttar Pradesh to Assam across Bihar,Another trough is seen from East Bihar to Northwest Bay of Bengal.

One more trough is seen from Telangana to South Tamil Nadu. A cyclonic circulation is also seen over Telangana.

Weather activity in last 24 hours

Light to moderate rains were recorded at many places over northeastern states, particularly Assam and Arunachal Pradesh that have witnessed heavy to extremely heavy showers.

Light rain was seen over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Dust storm and thundershowers were observed over Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Rajasthan.

Rains and thundershowers were also recorded over South Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru.

Scattered showers were also seen over few parts of Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.

Maximum temperatures across most parts of the country remained near normal or below normal. Heatwave conditions continued over isolated parts of Interior Odisha.

Weather Forecast for next 24 hours

Rains will once gain increase over Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Himachal Pradesh.

Ongoing moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers over northeastern states will now reduce.

Scattered dust storm and thunder storm activities are likely over Haryana, Delhi-NCR, West Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Scattered rains may occur over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru.

Heatwave to continue at one or two places over Interior Odisha.

No major change is likely in the temperature profile across the country, barring parts of Haryana and Punjab that could register marginal rise.
